People own multiple vacant homes should be taxed higher rate of tax than people only own single vacant homes.

People who own multiple homes no matter rent out or not should pay higher rate of tax than people who only own single property. People own multiple homes should be encouraged to invest their money elsewhere, not to speculate on house making it not affordable for those who really need it to dwell. People speculate on housing are as evil as those speculate on food that make other poor people hungry. Government should definitely take measures to those speculators. The more homes they own, the higher rate of tax they need to pay. What the speculators do is the same as buying a lot of food in bulk and then sell to poor hungry people in higher price. Housing is of basic need as food. I only support the government which takes people's basic needs seriously.
