Like its fruity namesake, the pomegranate, this film festival is fresh, dynamic, and prolific! Rich with culture, it depicts topics relevant Armenian culture through the medium of films submitted from around the world. In doing so, it creates a platform for burgeoning Armenian talent and the community to intermingle. All are welcome! Some noteworthy films being showcased this year: "Remember" feat. a Q&A with Oscar Nominated Director Atom Egoyan "Spotlight" - last year's Oscar winner for Best Picture- feat. a Q&A with journalist Stephen Kurkjian, real- life member of The Boston Globe investigative Spotlight Team "3 Weeks in Yerevan" - Gala presentation with a special performance by the film's stars, Vahik Pirhamzei and Vahe Berberian

Diversions showcases the photographic outcomes of an ongoing artistic dialogue between emerging artists Ravinder Rai and Sebastián Benítez. Engaging in themes of contemporary identity, culture, image, objects, commodification, and sexuality, this exhibition shares a process of awareness and discovery as Rai and Benítez photographically respond to each other's work. Featuring playful and clever self-portraits and still life photographs, this exhibition also incorporates elements of installation and mixed media.
