11/03/2016 The Living City Environmental Dinner Central East $100 +

In 2016 Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA) celebrated 60 years of positively influencing our environment in the GTA and The Living City vision of a human settlement that can flourish forever as part of nature's beauty and diversity. With thanks to our presenting sponsor, Times Group Corporation, we invite you to join us at The Living City Environmental Dinner on Thursday November 3, 2016 where we will celebrate environmental leaders with The Living City Awards and next generation of leaders with The Living City Scholarships. The dinner will be a wonderful evening of fine food and tremendous networking opportunities with TRCA, municipal, and business leaders from across the region who share our belief in The Living City and its ideals.

When I moved to Jimei 9 months ago, I was not familiar with the place. I got used to it after half a year. According to one of my neighbors, “Some part of Jimei is nice, some part of Jimei is disgusting”. Not for only once, when I walk along some beautiful quiet streets of Jimei, I feel the beauty of it and feel like in the heaven. Even till now  I am still not familiar with it, but when the bus drives along the bridge and I look at that place, I know I do know something about this place and it is part of my memory for ever. And just before the Chinese new year, I hear the song composed by one of the Jimei people. “最美是集美,集天下之美”.
